How it works
From wallet to cash out, in six steps
ChatFi combines a wallet, a storefront, and a payments system into one app. Here's exactly how it works, from creating your wallet through to getting your money in the bank.
Create your wallet
Download ChatFi and create a wallet in under a minute. Your private key is generated and stored only on your device — ChatFi never sees it, holds it, or can recover it on your behalf. This is what makes the wallet non-custodial: your funds are yours alone.
Fund your wallet
Add money by buying USDC directly in the app, receiving a transfer from another wallet, or accepting payment from a customer if you're selling. Your balance is held in USDC by default, which keeps its value stable against the Naira's swings.
Open a store (optional)
If you're selling, set up a ChatFi Store storefront at yourname.chatfi.pro — live the same day, no subscription fee. List products, share your store link on WhatsApp or Instagram, and customers can check out and pay you directly in Naira or USDC.
Trade, if you want to
Swap between crypto assets or trade stocks directly from your wallet balance, with orders routed through Jupiter for competitive pricing. There's no separate exchange account to fund — whatever's in your wallet is what you trade with.
Get paid
Payments from customers, trades, or transfers land directly in your wallet balance. Every transaction settles on the Solana blockchain and is independently verifiable — you're never waiting on ChatFi to release funds to you.
Get paid in Naira through your store
The ChatFi wallet itself holds USDC, not Naira. If you're selling through ChatFi Store, customers can pay you directly in Naira at checkout — that payment settles separately from your crypto wallet balance, so you can accept Naira from buyers without needing to hold or convert crypto yourself.
